2015 - YEAR REVIEW

*** THE REAL INVINCIBLES ***

Football 1st U11's completed the entire 2014/15 season with an amazing 100% record - 30 Wins, 0 Draws, 0 Defeats and scoring a whooping 192 goals. In doing so they won the highest division of the London County Saturday Youth League and also won the London County Challenge Cup. The boys stepped up a year to play and win the Charlton Athletic FC Tournament at The Valley, against some very strong U12's teams and successfully defeated Norwich City FC U12's in an impressive academy game that ended 4-3. The boys have continued their impressive form into the 2015/16 season as U12's and as of December, are currently top of the LCSYFL with a perfect win record and have won all 13 games so far in all competitions. Congratulations and many thanks to all the boys involved throughout  the year and the commitment shown by all the  parents and supporters.

2014 - YEAR REVIEW

2014 has been a great year for all at Football 1st. The now U11's team completed another calender year unbeaten in League & Academy football and in the process won the U10's SELKENT 'A' League title whilst conceding only 2 goals all season. Over the summer several players were selected to play for Kent & District sides, as well as represent Dartford FC Pre-Academy. Millwall FC came in and signed our long serving goalkeeper Magnus as well as flying left winger Denny. In September, club officials & parents voted unanimously to affiliate our own independent club side and in the process enter the highest division in the London County Saturday Youth Football League. So far they have won all six league games and seen them score an impressive 46 goals. The boys were featured in a double page article by Gavin Berry at the end of November, which appeared in the Daily Record tabloid newspaper.

The Academy run 28 free sessions for its Football 1st Awards Course as well as 6 free full day courses throughout the summer. The Football 1st Freestylers Course was launched in December with 11 boys passing the Level 1 certificate at their first attempt. Highest scores went to Max & Jacob who won tickets to join the U11's team at the Gillingham v Chesterfield Sky Bet League 1 fixture. Many thanks to everyone who has helped out at Football 1st this year and to all who have attended courses or played for the club side. Very proud of what we have all achieved.
