The newly crowned London County Saturday Youth League champions and London FA Cup winners, will be wearing the new home kit for the 2016/17 season as they look to go for a 3rd consecutive league title.

The boys retained their London County Saturday Youth League Title today with 2 gams to spare, after Bedhead Blues beat Lambeth Tigers 6-4 ending the Tigers hopes even though they still have 4 games left to play. With 14 wins from 14 league games so far this season, the boys have been clinical as well as professional in their defence of the title. Well done to all!

The Football 1st boys have entered the Southampton FC tournament at the St Mary's Stadium in June. After last years success at the Charlton Athletic FC tournament, the boys will have high hopes of more silverware.

The boys put in an oustanding performance to win the London FA Cup against one of our big rivals Lambeth Tigers. After a closely fought 1st half, Football 1st came in at half time with a slender 2-0 lead only to conceed a goal within minutes of the restart. This simply spurred the boys on and within minutes had scored 2 goals without reply to take a 4-1 lead. The Tigers heads dropped as Football 1st continued their superior possession and fine finishing to take make the final score an emphatic 8-1 win. Congratulations.

Football 1st exited at the Semi Final stage of The Challenge Cup after penalties were needed to decide the game. With Joe, Jared, Johnny, and Jude all missing, 2 of which on the morning of the game due to illness. The boys battled hard against a very strong and big Santley Athletic and could have won it towards the end with 2 very good one on one chances. The game eventually went to Santley after penalties went into sudden death.

The boys reached the Final of the London FA Cup on Saturday, after a hard fought Semi Final win against Clapham Rangers FC. The game itself was determined by strong winds and freezing conditions, that didn't allow for any fluid football to be played. Both sides battled hard throughout but a stronger 2nd half by the boys saw them through.

The Football 1st boys were guests at Charlton Athletic for their Sky Bet Championship game against Wolves. The boys enjoyed the use of the Activity Zone before kick off, met the Official Mascots, and were announced at half-time when the crowd were informed of the boys perfect 100% record.

Football 1st would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Many thanks to everyone involved within the club and congratulations to the boys on going the entire 2015 calender year with a perfect 100% record.

The London County Saturday Youth League have today confirmed the withdrawal of Kensington Knights from the top flight of the U12's league. All results have now been expunged and the league table has been adjusted including their baptism of fire when they lost 22-0 to Football 1st.

Many thanks to Jude's father, Ronnie Jeffery who has kindly donated a brand new 60 metre Forza ''Respect' barrier to the club. This will now be implemented at every home game and all parent's are kindly asked to stay behind the barriers.

The boys have been given a 'Bye' in the 1st round of the Challenge Cup after thier opponents Lambeth Tigers Juniors withdrew from the league and cup competition. Football 1st had been looking forward to getting their defence of the Cup underway, but will now have to wait for the 2nd round draw before they can take to the pitch.

The first fund raising event of the season for CLIC Sargent - Children With Cancer raised £425. David took to the skies as he abseiled down the Arcelor Mittal Orbit at the Olympic Stadium on the 28th August. Many thanks to everyone for their kind donations for a very worthwhile charity.

Two London County Saturday Youth League Winners fought out the inaugural running of the MacB Cup today. The cup which is contested by winners of their repsective leagues, was won at a canter by the Football 1st boys.

Football 1st will be supporting the CLIC Sargent - For Children With Cancer charity this coming season. All the coaches, boys and parents will endeavour to raise money with fundraising events throughout 2015/16.

First Event: David will be abseiling down the Arcelor Mittal Orbit at the Olympic Park, Stratford on the 26th July 2015.

With special guest Paul Canoville and over 60 trophies to hand out, the boys had a good time at their presentation yesterday. Besides the usual playing awards, the boys also picked up their London County Saturday Youth League Champions trophies, the London County Challenge Cup Winners trophies, the Charlton Athletic Tournament Winners trophies, and their 'Invincibles' trophies.

This years MacB Cup will be contested by Football 1st & Dynamo Youth FC on Saturday 29th August 2015. The charity competition is competed for each season by selected teams who have won their respective leagues. Kick off will be for 12:00pm at Long Lane JFC, Dursley Road, London, SE3 8PB.

Football 1st have today launched its new branding and club badge to coincide with the start of the coming 2015/16 season.

Football 1st will fall back in line with the Partick Thistle home colours of red and yellow stripes for the coming new season. Last year the the boys wore the Jags away colours of pink, grey and black as their home kit, but will now use this as their away colours.

Paul Canoville will be the special guest at this years Presentation on the 5th July. Paul was the first Black player to play for Chelsea FC and is now one of their embassadors, as well as a high profile figure in the battle to 'Kick Racism Out of Football'. Will be sad to see the 'Camouflage' kit go after such an amazing season and getting so many compliments about it. But its out with the old and in with the new as the boys get a revamped pink, grey and black away kit for the new season.

The boys were officially crowned U11's London County Saturday Youth League Champions today, after their final league win away to 2nd place Bedhead Blues. Even though the title had been decided a few weeks ago, the boys kept up the momentum to finish off the season with a perfect 100% record and a 15 point gap at the top of the table.

The double was completed with comprehensive 7-1 win over Broomwood Barbarians in the final of the London County Challenge Cup. Football 1st had already knocked out one of the favourites in the 1st round as well as 4 other top flight teams on route to winning the cup.

On an evening when the Brentford FC scout made an approach for four Football 1st players, the boys put in a stunning performance against a Norwich City side which was not only a year older but featured 7 contracted players in its starting line up. Football 1st led throughout the game and dug deep when Norwich used multiple substitutions as they came strong towards the end of the game.

Football 1st U11's were presented to a near 8,000 crowd before Gillingham's Sky Bet League 1 fixture v Fleetwood Town today. The boys took up front row seats afterwards to watch a disappointing 1-0 defeat for the Gills.

Football 1st would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks to everyone who has helped this year and to the boys who went another calender year unbeaten in league & academy football. We are now closed down until Thursday 8th January.

Max & Jacob joined the boys to watch Gillingham's Sky Bet League 1 fixture v Chesterfield this afternoon. The Gills players came over and had photos done with the Football 1st players. The game itself was a 5 goal thriller though the unfortunately the 3 points went to Chesterfield with a 3-2 win.

The launch of the new Football 1st Freestylers course saw 11 kids pass the Level 1 certificate at their first attempt. Highest scores and the prize of 4 tickets to see Gillingham v Chesterfield went to Max & Jacob. They will now join the U11's team to watch the Sky Bet League 1 fixture in a fortnight.

The Football 1st boys were today featured in a double page article for the Daily Record tabloid newspaper. Written by Gavin Berry, the article gave massive recognition to the teams amazing acheivements and its connections to Partick Thistle FC.
